Capitol Conversation: Colorado and the 2012 Presidential Race

President Barack Obama recently made his third trip to Colorado in the last four months. Colorado is expected to be a key swing state in the general election. As part of our capitol conversation series, KUNC’s State Capitol Reporter Bente Birkeland sat down with fellow state house reporters to talk about Colorado’s role in the 2012 presidential race.

Bente Birkeland has been reporting on state legislative issues for KUNC and Rocky Mountain Community Radio since 2006. Originally, from Minnesota, Bente likes to hike and ski in her spare time. She keeps track of state politics throughout the year but is especially busy during the annual legislative session from January through early May.
