The Denver Silent Film Festival celebrates the early days of movies with some real classics including Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ and The Phantom of the Opera, as well as some lesser-known rarities, like The Blot and A House Divided -- both of which were directed by women. Music will be provided by some of the genre’s most accomplished silent film accompanists, including Rodney Sauer, Hank Troy, Donald Sosin and Joanna Seaton.
