Watch This And Hold On To Your Colorado Summer

Zach Becker

This is going to either bring back your own memories or set you to furious work on that summer bucket list. As the days shorten, this video captures a lot of the grandeur and fun you'll find in Colorado's mountains.

It's true, fall is coming. We're less than a month away from the official first day of autumn, Sept. 22.

Students are heading backing to the classroom and college is back in session in Boulder and Fort Collins. We're past most of the major summer music festivals and many are already talking about the upcoming fall elections and marijuana tax issues and new states.

Don't give in. You can cling to summer and Zach Becker's ode to Colorado life, 'Colorado Summer '13' can help.

According to Becker's Facebook page, this was shot over the course of three months and is the culmination of separate projects. Consider it a highlight reel of summer fun.

Snowless ski jumping at Steamboat's Howelson Hill. Biking along the river on the Glenwood Canyon bike trail. Hiking, swimming, ziplines, river rafting, the Strawberry Days Festival - it's all there.

Most of all, there's the scenery of Colorado, the very reason we all live here anyway.

H/T to r/Colorado on Reddit.

I’m not a Colorado native (did you know that "I'm from Missouri" means "I'm skeptical of the matter and not easily convinced?") but I have lived here for most of my life and couldn't imagine leaving. After graduating from Colorado State University, I did what everyone wants to do; I moved to the mountains and skied, hiked, and hid from responsibility! Our listeners in the mountains may know me from my time in Steamboat Springs and Vail or as the voice of the Battle Mountain Huskies Hockey team in Vail.
