This weekend, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to the hospital, ten days after he tested positive for coronavirus. Johnson’s office said the prime minister’s case was not an emergency,  and his hospital admission was a “precautionary step.”

And over the weekend, Queen Elizabeth II made a rare public address about the pandemic. “If we remain united and resolute, then we will overcome it,” she said.

The virus has infected at least 40,000 people in Britain, including Prince Charles, the Queen’s son.
