Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer.
Samuel Sevian recently reached two major milestones. He became a national master in chess, and turned 10 years old. The California fourth-grader is the youngest national master in U.S. history. Sevian's father says Samuel has been competing against adults since he was eight. That helped him gather the points needed to be a master. Samuel says when he grows up, he wants to be a chess player or a pilot.
