KUNC is owned and operated by Community Radio for Northern Colorado (CRNC), a 501 (c) 3, Colorado non-profit organization. CRNC is the parent organization to both KUNC and the non-commercial music service, The Colorado Sound. Both services aim to strengthen our communities by cultivating the mind and spirit - informing, inspiring, and entertaining.

We do not receive financial support from the State of Colorado. KUNC is now funded entirely by the community through member support, local business underwriting, and philanthropic partners.
