Brewery Waste Transformed Into Natural Gas

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep with tales of environmental consciousness.

Vermont's Magic Hat Brewing Company is recycling. It found a use for spent grain from the brewing process. It's turned into natural gas that fuels brewing operations. In Fort Myers, Florida, officials are cleaning out medicine cabinets. They encouraged people to drop off old medication rather than dispose of it improperly. And somebody turned in a prescription they'd been keeping since 1964.
