INSKEEP: Greek protesters were in the streets again. A strike by utility workers is causing power outages in parts of the country. And air-traffic controllers plan to strike today as well, so many flights in and out of Athens are canceled. Greeks are demonstrating against government plans to slash the national budget, raise taxes, and sell off state assets. This week, the prime minister is trying to get another austerity plan though the parliament. He needs to shore up the country's finances in order to receive more aid from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
