How do you follow up a year of touring, an eTown appearance, and a live set in the World Cafe? If you're cello player Ben Sollee you play Live @ Swallow Hill.

It was a big year for Sollee. In addition to appearances on eTown and World Cafe, he played at the Newport Folk Festival along with Dawes. He also tried to get out the vote by playing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, which worked out well until the Park Service came around.

There was also a new album for the classically trained cellist, Half Made Man which came out September 2012. It's an autobiographical and self-produced affair that Consequence of Sound gave 3 out of 5 stars.

Which brings us to Ben Sollee's stop at Swallow Hill's Daniels Hall. The set includes not only a Paul Simon tune, but a great sampler from his albums Learning To Bend, Dear Companion, Inclusions, and Half Made Man.

Setlist:

This show originally aired January 5, 2013. It was recorded at Daniels Hall November 17, 2012.
