March Revenue Forecast Equals More Money for State Budget

Colorado’s latest revenue forecast shows signs of growth and a slight uptick in the economy. The better than expected quarterly forecast means lawmakers will have nearly 150 million additional dollars to work with in next year’s budget. Negotiations on how to spend that money are already underway. KUNC’s Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
