Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer.
An Ohio city councilman is in trouble for being a back-to-nature kind of guy. He tapped a century-old maple in front of his house and collected enough sap to make two gallons of syrup. But he was outed by the�Toledo Blade. It was a city tree. He didn't have a permit. Councilman Steel got a warning. That was city sap. He removed the taps. But he still keeps chickens and beehives and makes his own soap.
