What is a Sustaining Membership?
The easiest way to support KUNC is with a Sustaining Membership. As a Sustaining Member, you designate a monthly amount ($10/month minimum) to be transferred from your checking, savings, debit card, or credit card account. Your Sustaining Membership provides ongoing support and can be changed at anytime. Click here to join the family of KUNC Sustaining Members.
How do I make changes to my Sustaining Membership?

What types of gifts does KUNC accept?
We accept cash gifts, stocks, vehicle donations, planned gifts, charitable IRA rollovers, and matching gifts. For more information or questions about other ways to give, please contact us at membership@kunc.org.
What does it mean to be a Leadership Circle Member?
Leadership Circle Members are a group of dedicated individuals who take a leadership role in the support of KUNC with an annual donation of $1,200 or more. Click here to become a Leadership Circle Member.
Leadership Circle Benefits include:
- Invitations to special events
- Acknowledgment of support, with your permission, in our Annual Report
- Personal tour of KUNC broadcast production facilities
- Quarterly newsletter
What can I expect if I donate my vehicle to KUNC?
Vehicle donations are handled by Vehicles for Charity. They will handle the logistics of towing the vehicle, transferring the title and will provide the proper documentation and tax paperwork.
- 30% of donated vehicles are 20 years or older (average sale price is $270)
- 66% of donated vehicles are between 10-19 years old (average sale price is $800)
- 4% of vehicles are less than 10 years old (average sale price is $2900)

When I become a member of KUNC what does my donation support?
Donations pay for all costs to acquire, produce and deliver content on all our platforms such as our award-winning KUNC News reporting and weekday community program, Colorado Edition, NPR programming such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered as well as weekend programming.
How do I apply for a matching gift from my employer?
Check with your human resources office to see if your employer matches gifts to nonprofit organizations like KUNC.
Do you keep my name and other information private?
Yes, we value your support of KUNC and are committed to maintaining your privacy. KUNC does not sell, trade, or share any of your information with any other organization.
Oops! I made a mistake and need to request a refund for my donation.
If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to KUNC, we will honor your request for a refund made within 30 days of the original donation. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. I heard about a sweepstakes, how do I enter?
Periodically, KUNC may announce a sweepstakes for various prizes. You don't have to donate to be entered, but if you choose to give to KUNC during the stated time period we will enter you into the sweepstakes as well. If you are a current sustaining member, you can sit back and relax because you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. To enter the sweepstakes without giving a gift, just give us a call at 1-800-443-5862 during the sweepstakes period or email membership@kunc.org and we will add your name to the drawing.
