On Second Thought, The Dead Can't Speak

File this under "Unfortunate Headline of the Day":

"In blog, homicide victims have their say."

It's on our edition of The Washington Post's metro section this morning.

Thankfully, the online editors have changed the headline to this:

" Blogger aims to chronicle every D.C. homicide victim."

And the story, by the way, is pretty interesting. It's about Laura Norton Amico's . blog, which seeks to "mark every death. Remember every victim. Follow every case."

Check it out.

But we don't think you'll hear any voices.
