The hosts of 'Thirst Aid Kit,' Bim Adewunmi (L) and Nichole Perkins (R) ask you to put on your headphones and get your straws out.

In her song “Love Drought,” Beyoncé asks her lover: “Or am I not thirsty, enough?”

It’s safe to say that’s not a problem for the hosts of “Thirst Aid Kit,” a podcast from Slate.

The talk show centers and prioritizes the desire of women — from unpacking what makes actor Jon Cho just so dreamy, to what makes a literary love interest shine. It explores who we like and why we like them.

Thirst Aid Kit might have been doomed after their former host outlet, BuzzFeed, shut down their audio division.

But their show was picked up by Slate, and they’re back in full force, talking about pop culture and desire with a series of esteemed experts in thirst.

Hosts Bim Adewunmi and Nichole Perkins join us to talk about pop culture, desire and of course, celebrity crushes.

Produced by Gabrielle Healy.
