House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are backing a $908 billion COVID-19 relief bill as a good starting point for a compromise on a plan that will assist Americans struggling in the pandemic. It’s the first time bipartisan support appears to be present for a relief plan in many months.

President Donald Trump is reportedly weighing announcing a bid for the presidency in 2024 on the day of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. Prominent Republicans have cheered the effort in public, claiming that they think President Trump would easily win the Republican party’s nomination if he chooses to campaign again.
