The Song That Changed My Life: A Community Storytelling Event

KUNC's Luke Runyon hosts The Song That Changed My Life: A Community Storytelling Event

Britney Spears teaches a young gay man how to live his truth. "Love Is a Battlefield" saves a life. Barbra Streisand inspires a young singer/songwriter. A family road trip narrowly avoids disaster thanks to "Michael, Row The Boat Ashore."

On June 13, Colorado storytellers came together for "The Song That Changed My Life: A Community Storytelling Event" at The Lyric in Fort Collins. Hosted by Luke Runyon, four preselected speakers and two wild card audience submissions told their stories on one theme, with musical interludes provided by Matthew Wilburn Skinner.
