Full Containment Of Waldo Canyon Fire Expected Tomorrow

Hot Shot firefighters cut a fire line on June 28, 2012 in the Mount Saint Francois area of Colorado Springs, Colo., while helping to battle several fires in Waldo Canyon.

Firefighters have built containment lines around 90% of the Waldo Canyon Wildfire burning west of Colorado Springs. Crews got some help last night when .4 inches of rain fell on the fire.

HUD Provides Disaster Resources To Colorado Wildfire Victims

President Obama’s major disaster declaration will allow U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to offer foreclosure relief and other assistance to certain families living in El Paso and Larimer Counties who have been affected by the Waldo Canyon and High Park fires.
