Fresh off last night’s third and final presidential debate on foreign policy, the battleground state of Colorado will be back in the national spotlight for the next couple of days.
Both campaigns see winning Colorado as their ticket to the White House.
To that end, and with early voting now underway in the state, both the Romney-Ryan ticket and President Obama are planning what are expected to be large rallies this week in Morrison Tuesday and Denver Wednesday respectively.
Former Massachusetts Governor Romney will appear alongside running-mate Paul Ryan Tuesday night at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in what’s appropriately shaping up to be nothing short of a rock concert. Rock musician Kid Rock and country music star Rodney Atkins will perform, and New Mexico Governor – and rising GOP star – Susana Martinez will also speak.
The choice of Red Rocks for a political event has raised the hackles of some Coloradans on social media.
