It was March 17 when Fabrice Muamba of the English Premier League's Bolton Wanderers collapsed on the pitch and for a little more than an hour, as one of his doctors put it, was "in effect, dead" as medical teams struggled to get his heart going again following a cardiac arrest.
Today, the 24-year-old soccer player was released from London Chest Hospital, the BBC reports.
While he has come a long way, as Sky News says "it is still unknown whether Muamba will play professional football again."
