Donald Trump's flirtation with running for president apparently came to a halt today as he announced during the NBC upfront presentations (where the network presents its fall schedule) that he would not be running. And, of course, he can therefore continue to appear on The Celebrity Apprentice — whew!

As you may have heard in April during this report from David Folkenflik, not everyone ever believed that Trump had any intention of running for president. But he still managed to grab a large swath of attention for himself. At least he provided Seth Meyers and President Barack Obama with some material at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
