The American Automobile Association (AAA) says Coloradans are paying less at the pump than last week. Greeley is the only city the association follows in the state to see a rise in gas prices.

According to the daily AAA survey, a price for a gallon of regular gasoline averages $3.726 across Colorado. That's down from $3.739 a week ago.

And while west coast states like California continue to see the price at the pump skyrocket, Colorado remains below the national average which hovers around $3.818 a gallon.

The Denver Business Journal reportsthat the price for a gallon of regular in Vail is the highest in the state topping out at $4.063.

The lowest of the cities? Ft. Collins/Loveland at $3.662 a gallon.

While Greeley's neighboring cities have the lowest average price per gallon in the state, it'll cost you $3.727 a gallon to fill up your tank.

AAA says it surveys up to 120,000 gas stations around the country daily for national averages of gasoline, diesel and E85.

The highest recorded price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Colorado was back in July of 2008 at $4.093.
