Colorado Receives Federal Relief For School Districts
Earlier this week, Colorado received over $120 million in emergency federal relief for Colorado school districts through the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security, or CARES Act. Colorado Education Commissioner Katy Anthes joined us with more on what this means in our state.

As life has slowed down during the Coronavirus pandemic, gun violence continues to happen across the country, and outreach workers continue to try and stop it. But even as social distancing restrictions ease in Denver, these workers continue to wrestle with the impacts of COVID-19. KUNC’s Leigh Paterson reports.
Fort Collins’ Mask Rules
Officials in Larimer County are planning to relax some of its guidelines around the wearing of face coverings, especially when it comes to businesses who don’t feel comfortable requiring them for clients. But it’s a different story in Fort Collins, which plans to keep its more stringent rules in place for now.
