Oil And Gas Workers And Falling Oil Prices

With the economy starting to reopen this week, some businesses are getting back to work. But amid an oil price crash fueled by low demand, thousands of workers in Colorado’s oilfields are being laid off. For some, the loss may be permanent. KUNC’s Matt Bloom brings us that story.

Results from a new survey show how the coronavirus pandemic is impacting life for Coloradans. Questions ranged from mental health, support for stay at home measures, and how confident people are in local, state and federal leadership during the crisis.
