VIDEO: Colorado Gun Sales Spike In Wake Of Theater Shooting

As the Two-Way reported on Tuesday, gun sales have climbed steeply in Colorado since the shootings at the Aurora Theater. The early morning shootings last Friday left 12 dead and 58 wounded.

While politicians are split on gun laws and any new controls are unlikely to occur, it is important to note that the suspect had purchased his weapons legally. Those weapons have been identified as a AR-15 assault rifle, a Remington 870 shotgun, and two .40 caliber Glock pistols. PBS NewsHour looked at the details of those weapons and some of the public opinions on them on Monday.

KUNC & NPR's ongoing coverage of the Aurora Theater Shootings is collected here.
