Jason Crow And Impeachment
Colorado congressman Jason Crow has played a substantial role in impeachment trial in the Senate, as one of the Democrats’ impeachment managers. Today, we’re going to dig into what’s ahead for Crow as the trial continues. He held a call with Colorado’s press corps reporters earlier today. KUNC’s Michael de Yoanna was on that call and joined us to give us the highlights.
Colorado's Death Penalty And The People Trying To Repeal It
Since the start of the legislative session, we’ve been telling you about what lawmakers are up to in the Capitol. Today, we’re going to turn to an issue that has been up for debate for years: repealing the state’s death penalty.
Bills to repeal the death penalty have been introduced in Colorado five times before. But this year, for the first time, it seems likely to pass because of the support of three Republicans. Today on the show, we spoke with one of the bills co-sponsors, State Sen. Jack Tate, a Republican from Arapahoe County.

A new National Endowment for the Arts survey puts Colorado ahead of the nation in terms of attendance at arts events. But as KUNC’s Stacy Nick reports, it slows when it comes to Coloradans actively participating in the arts. She joined us to explain what the survey found.
Colorado College Reaches Carbon Neutrality
Colorado College, a private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs, announced last week that it had reached carbon neutrality. They say they are the first institution of higher education in the Rocky Mountain region to do so. Colorado-based Reproductive Rights Branch Splits From National Group
While some states are enacting restrictions around abortion, one Colorado group is taking a strong stance on protecting abortion rights. To do so, NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is splitting from their national affiliate. Jennifer Brown has been following the split for the Colorado Sun and joined us to talk about the story.
