  • J.P. Moon is a Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City and County of Denver. His practice focuses on workers' compensation defense, city policy and subrogation. J.P. has practiced law in Colorado since graduating from the University of Denver in 2008. While at DU, J.P. won the NRELS Appellate Advocacy Competition, received academic honors in Sales & Leases, and was a member of the legal honor fraternity, Phi Delta Phi. Until his recent move to the Denver City Attorney's Office, J.P. had a multi-state practice, representing employers and insurers across both Colorado and New Mexico. In 2018, J.P. was nominated as one of the respondent attorneys of the year by the Professionals in Workers' Compensation. J.P. is active in various professional organizations, including the Colorado Bar, CSIA and PWC. In this free time, J.P. enjoys exploring the Rocky Mountains with his fiancee Karly Tran, biking and being active in the community.
