GOP Rep. Jeff Hurd is part of a bipartisan quartet of lawmakers trying to extend a tax credit that helps people buy health insurance on the state marketplace.

Cattle at the Five Rivers feedlot in Kersey, which can hold about a quarter-million cattle at any one time. It buys cattle from ranches across Colorado, all over the American West, and Mexico. It has contracts with local and regional farmers for feed, especially corn.
