Electricity from gas produced by hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, releases about half the greenhouse gas emissions as coal, Colorado researchers reported Monday.

Colorado Ranks 8 In Wind Power

Thirteen percent of the energy generated in Colorado last year came from wind power, making it among the nation’s top states according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Energy.
