Mexican Trucks in US

NPR's Kathleen Schalch reports an international arbitration panel will decide if the United States has violated a provision in NAFTA that would allow Mexican trucks on all U-S Highways. The dispute, between Mexico and the US centers on whether Mexican trucks are so unsafe as to pose a threat to US motorists. If the arbitration fails to resolve the problem, the two countries could impose trade sanctions and tariffs on each other.
