Officials are asking the public for assistance to identify the cause of the Cameron Peak Fire.

Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests' fire investigation team is looking for photos of the Cameron Peak Fire from trails located south of the peak.

The most helpful photos would be those taken of active fire near any of the adjacent trails, especially of smoke and flames located around those trails.

Any pictures or additional information can be emailed to SM.FS.usfsarp@usda.gov or call 307-745-2392, option 5, and leave your name and number so law enforcement can contact you.
