Traffic information for I-25 is now accessible from your iPhone or Android device by using the Colorado Department of Transportation’s mobile application. Real-time data provided by CDOT Mobile includes road conditions, construction updates, lane closures, estimated travel times and a live feed from traffic cameras.
This is the first update to application that launched last September with similar real-time data for the I-70 corridor. Officials with CDOT say they plan to continue expanding the app to include other major highways throughout the metro area and state.
CDOT Mobile currently has more than 50,000 users. The free app does contain advertisements, some of which direct users to activities near the interstate. To download CDOT Mobile, text “CDOT” to 25827, head to www.cotrip.mobi or search for CDOT Mobile in your phone’s app store.
