Colorado authorities suspect three 11-year-old boys of starting a brush fire near a lake near Longmont.
The fire was reported about 4:15 p.m. Sunday in an area containing cattails on the east side of McIntosh Lake.
The fire was contained within about an hour and burned about 1.5 acres. No one was hurt.
Witnesses told authorities they saw juveniles in the area lighting fires.
The three boys were found, and authorities say they will face fourth-degree arson charges and will be referred to a juvenile fire setter program.
