To coincide with the release of her new album Like a King, and a live performance Tuesday at Twist & Shout, local phenom Danielle Anderson has released a new video.

Aspen trees in Colorado and the west have been decimated by a long and exceptionally dry drought. The southern Rockies lost more than 1.3 million trees alone between 2005 and 2010.

The early word is that it could have been worse. The steel and aluminum dome atop the Mount Evans observatory was destroyed by high winds over the winter. But damage to the telescope inside may not be as bad as first thought.

Construction on Colorado’s first Bus Rapid Transit system begins next month along U-S 36 from I-25 to Table Mesa in Boulder. Once completed, the project will feature a new type of bus which is being displayed this week in Denver, Boulder and Longmont. 

The Stuart Hole Fire was reported on Monday, June 4th in the area of CR82E and Boxer Ranch Road north west of Livermore, CO.
