Colorado GOP Executive Director Expects Sizable Caucus Turnout

Colorado Republicans hold their presidential caucus next Tuesday, and the state party’s Executive Director is expecting sizeable turnout.

“Every time after one of the primaries or caucuses before us, you see that spike in attention here for Colorado, and I think you’re going to see that even more and more after you get past Nevada’s caucuses on Saturday.”

Chuck Poplestein says more people have been inquiring about their precinct caucus sites. Sites may change from election cycle to election cycle and Poplestein says if registered Republicans have not yet found their 2012 location, they can do so by visiting caucus.cologop.org.

He expects the state should start to see election results around 8pm Tuesday night.
