STEVE INSKEEP, host:
Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
In 1983, Forrest Lunsway had a blind date. Rose Pollard went out with him, and they discovered they both loved to dance. Mr. Lunsway was in his 70s then. But though time would seem to be short, he waited 20 years to propose. Ms. Pollard put him off, saying she'd marry him on his 100th birthday. She says now she never expected him to remember her promise that long. But of course he did, and they celebrated the wedding on Saturday.
