Stars Come Out For Presidential Campaigns in Colorado

Ahead of next week’s voter registration deadline, musician will.i.am is in Colorado for several events aimed at college students and young voters.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman headlines a pre-debate event Wednesday near the University of Denver in support of President Obama. He’ll be in Boulder and Fort Collins Thursday to help kick off canvassing efforts at the University of Colorado and Colorado State University.

The two schools are battling to register the most voters in the ‘Rocky Mountain Rumble’ voter registration challenge.  The most recent information puts CU Boulder slightly ahead of CSU Fort Collins.

The Romney campaign has attracted star power of its own. Former Denver Broncos’ quarterback and current executive, John Elway, endorsed Romney when he introduced him at a rally Monday. Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton also announced his support for Romney this week.
