Officials at Denver International Airport are warning passengers that they might spend a little extra time on the ground today because of weather conditions at the airport. The snow will be tapering off today – but DIA spokesperson Laura Coale says it did cause some problems.

Airports in the New York area are open again after Tropical Storm Irene grounded more than 12,000 thousand flights over the weekend. But the overall impact on Denver International Airport has been minimal.

A new online system allows Coloradans to track the movement of flights and air traffic patterns along the northern Front Range.
