Free Sandbags For Those At Risk Of Flooding After Waldo Canyon Fire

The Colorado Springs Office of Emergency Management is providing free sandbags today to homeowners at risk for flooding after the Waldo Canyon Fire.Sandbags will handed out until 4 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless building at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road. Volunteers will be on site to fill sandbags and residents are being encouraged to consult a contractor for advice on how to use them to protect their property.
